Final Cut Pro X - Social Media

Tested with Version 10.3.4

Before exporting your file you must normalize your audio to a maximum level of -1dBFS.

Therefore, go to Window / Show in Workspace / Effects

In the effects panel, go to Audio, select Levels and drag and drop the Limiter effect onto your audio.

Normalize the Output Level [dB] to -1,0

You can apply this effect to multiple audio clips by copying the audio clip, which you have already applied the effect to, and selecting the rest of your audio and going to Effects / Paste Attributes.

Next click File / Send To Compressor

You now need to set up a custom export setting. Click the Plus icon in the bottom left corner and select MPEG-4.

On the right hand side, you can customize your export settings. If you cannot see this panel then select:

Select the Video tab.
