Guidelines & Guidance

At Red Bull Media House, we have standardized guidelines for adding subtitles to any production. You are required to burn in forced narrative subtitle files (FNS), which are only required when an alternate language is used and needs to be localized and translated into the original language of the content. Whether it's HD or 4K, there are specific methods to adhere to.

Make sure in your deliverables, depending on your content plan, to specify which assets need corner bug and which don&rsquo;t. Production Partners should deliver assets with and without corner bugs, according to what you briefed them and where you are planning to post these assets on social media. See below when and for what your assets would need a corner bug.

Text on Screen videos ore complemented by on screen text lo steer the video's relevancy and story. They do not need to be overcomplicated and have complex words. Think of a picture book.

Wording is simple. 1 - 2 lines of text. Video does not cut too much, it is fluid.
