An Interview Selects clip is video asset solely dedicated to the interview content created in a similar raw format to a News Cut. For projects that have athletes or participants in markets with high media interest in that project or athlete, it is beneficial to create an additional Interview Selects clip to accompany the News Cut. This allows the athlete or participants to give an interview in English or their native language that resonates in their market, promoting greater localization.

The footage from a project or event is then organized into three different segments with a slate followed by the footage. They are

This round is crucial to ensure the News Cut is edited precisely to this brief, and all key messaging, visuals and quotes are included from the project.

A News Cut is an essential Earned Media Asset that is the industry standard raw video format file used for video packaging. This most versatile asset  allows all types of media to quickly edit footage for their social channels, owned channels or for traditional broadcast. Produced in a raw edit format, the News Cut  allows third party editors  create a video store that implements their brand style, tone of voice, text overlay and graphics.
