Waiver App

With the Red Bull Media House Digital Waiver App, Appearance and Participant Agreements can be easily accessed and quickly signed with an iPad or any mobile device. All signed waivers are automatically uploaded into BullDrive.

As a Production Partner, you can request access for a project through your Production Manager.

Step by Step Introduction

1. Contact your Governance Administrator

2. Receiving Access

  • Production Governance creates new staff account
    • Made through the MAIN WaiverElectronic account
    • Governance uses Third Party email address and creates new password
  • Login information given to Third Party by administrators
    • External use: Production Partners, Third Party Users
      • Will receive limited visibility access to waivers specific to their event
  • Production Partners will create a new template for each project
  • Third Party will create a waiver group specific to the event

3. Create and view Waivers

  • Once logged in on the browser, select the “Create Waiver Template” option under the “My Waivers” section:

Creating Waivers

  • Enter the Title
    • This will appear as an icon the user will click on before fi lling out the waiver
  • Add a Header Logo (adjusting size and position)
  • Add the Header Text
    • This will appear as the title above the body of the waiver
  • Click the blue “Save Template” button at the top of the page to save progress
  • Click “Preview” to catch a glimpse of your current creation
  • Click “Next Step” to continue
  • Start building your template
  • Select the buttons on the right-hand side to select which fields you need on your waiver
  • Drag and drop each fi eld to organize them in a specific order
  • Enter the body text of the waiver
  • Click the blue “Save Template” button at the top of the page to save progress
  • Click “Preview” to catch a glimpse of your current creation

  • This preview is what the user will see when filling out the waiver
  • What is visible?
    • Logo
    • Header Text
    • Body Text
    • Field Buttons selected
    • Background (selections of colors/patterns to choose from)
    • Submit button
  • Settings
    • Selection of optional finishing touches to your waiver
    • Abilities to:
      • Does the event include minors?
      • Does the user want a copy of the signed waiver?
      • Using a custom waiver confirmation page
      • Selection of background color/pattern
  • Click the blue “Save Template” button at the top of the page to save progress
  • Selection of following to add as needed:
    • Signature
    • Print Name
    • Signed Date
  • These options are also available when selecting the fi eld buttons for the waiver
  • Click the blue “Save Template” button at the top of the page to save progress

Viewing your Waivers

  • After saving the final template, click ”View/Edit Waiver Template” under the “My Waivers” section
  • Any waiver template created will live under ”View/Edit Waiver Template”
    • Abilities to:
      • Edit waiver
      • Copy Link
      • Display waiver
      • Clone waiver
      • Delete waiver

4. Creating Waiver Groups

  • Once the waiver is created, it can be filed in a Waiver Group
  • Click on Create a Waiver Group under the “Waiver Group” section
  • Click Next and fill in the information specific to your waiver
  • Then click Submit
  • Refer back to the “Waiver Group” section and click on Waiver Group Status
  • Once you see your specific Group Name, click on View
  • The below page should pop up in another browser
  • Here is where you will find a direct link to the stored and signed waivers (once completed) as well as a QR Code
  • The QR Code can be used digitally or physically (printed on site) so the signees may sign the waivers on their own electronic device
  • The signees can pull out their phone, open their camera and scan the QR Code
    • This will directly route them to the waiver online
    • Users sign and submit
    • The waivers are automatically stored within the Waiver Group

5. Integration and Downloading

  • Workflow of WaiverElectronic is the exact same whether it’s used online or offline
    • When it is used offline, we are unable to synchronize the data until we are back online
    • When synchronized online, all waivers will be visible
    • No matter online or offline, waivers can successfully be signed
  • Integrations:
    • Connect to:
      • Google Drive
      • Dropbox
      • We are working with the WaiverElectronic Team to integrate waivers into BullDrive
    • After integration, the waivers will be deleted from the app after the agreed term (decided by Administrators)
    • Administrators will monitor the organization and clean up of the app
    • iPads, laptops or phones can be used on site to access the app
